Otter Valley Hash is a group of runners (all abilities and ages) who meet on Thursday evenings at 7.30, in order to follow a trail through the lovely countryside of East Devon. The venue varies from week to week, but the aim is always the same--to provide an enjoyable cross-country running experience to all participants, whatever their running ability. There are always false trails to keep the fast boys/girls in check, and short cuts to give the slower movers a helping hand. Depending on your choices the run is between 3 and 6 miles long, on average, and usually takes just over an hour. The average turn out is over 30 and, afterwards, many of the runners visit a local pub for refreshments. This is a very social form of training! All are welcome to join us. If you would like to know more, go to our 'join us' page and leave a message, or simply turn up at one of our venues and let us know who you are. Forthcoming venues can be found on the news page, as can details of membership fees.
Should you be in any doubt about the quality of the terrain that we are lucky enough to be able to run through every week, just check out the evidence on the photos page!
