Hares---Please note that there are three areas in East Devon that must not be used for trails, under any circumstances. This is a result of requests by local land owners. If we do not comply with these requests, we might lose access to large areas of our best hashing terrain!!
The areas are
A) The RSPB Nature Reserve on Aylesbeare Common (close to Joney's Cross car park--beware!!).
B) Woodbury Castle Hill Fort--ramparts and interior (the castle car park is still a good place to start a hash--just avoid the castle!!).
C) Hayes Wood, west of East Budleigh (pheasant rearing!).
If you are laying for one of the other hashes that have recently taken to using terrain once only used by OVH3, please accept the same limitations. If access on Woodbury Common and surrounds is lost to one hash, it will be lost to all hashes!!
Maps of the areas of concern, and further details, can be found on the photos page. Please view this information carefully, if you intend to lay a hash close to any of these areas.
